I smoke LMs brand When in kalkan most shops sell these,  very reasonable cost , i am sure they do a light version in blue packets

pS: If lights are still too strong, simply use a pin to pit a few perforations in the filter, and hey presto you have silk cut!

I always bring Silk cut back for my friend. I someties buy them going over on Monarch flights, this year they were £44 for 400. The also had them in Dalaman airport.

Always buy cigarettes at Dalaman on arrival....get them while everyone is rushing and squashing each other getting cases..come out of duty free and your cases are going around niceley with most people gone ;)

I don't smoke (filthy, filthy habit  :P) but the decorator who was working on my house while I was away asked me to pick him up 200 Marlboro Lights. I paid 80TL in one of the supermarkets in Kalkan but this sounds way OTT if 400 cigarettes cost £44 on the plane. Was I ripped off or are they generally cheaper at the airport than in Kalkan?

We are not smokers either but  always bring 400 back between us as it works out    cheaper than buying  200 packs. Gatwick is normally more expensive but we find the airlines cheaper Thomson and Monarch. Friemds of ours paid 39 euros in Greece for 200 which was  a lot more than I paid. Dalaman airport coming back is sometimes cheaper but they are priced in euros which confuses me.

When BH used to smoke we always bought them coming out from Manchester, at Dalaman when we landed and Dalaman when we were going home as they were always cheaper...considerably so...than UK prices. We even bought some in Meis when we were there - they were about the cheapest I've ever seen. Luckily all that ciggie spending goes in the K4E bag fund these days ;D ;D

Oh  :(  What should I have paid? Fortunately I didn't ask my decorator for the money - I gave them to him as a gift because he'd done such a good job - but had I asked him to pay for them presumably he would have thought that I was overcharging him! He's Turkish and regularly flies to visit family so I guess he knows what he should pay for 200 Marlboros.
