Late food

Anyone know what time restaurants stop serving food - just when we arrive late after the airport transfer at 11pm ish will the restaurants still be serving ok? I would prefer to hold out for something decent to eat in Kalkan - it's also a nice welcome to start the holiday.

Most restarants will still be serving at 11pm so you should have no problem

We arrived late in May and went straight to Musakka - they were very happy to cook for us!

::  And of course  Ali Baba's soup kitchen   is always open   ,  I can tease that FAB  lentil soup right now with a bucket full of fresh bread  and side salad of course

read lots of posts about the soup kitchen - can anyone tell me where it is and what type of food they do (other than soup  )

AlisonD. Its called Ali Babas and Mussakka is above it now - the steps up to Mussakka are at the side of the Soup Kitchen. They do traditional Turkish food - you can choose from their fridge. Always a lovely welcome, absolutely no frills but their Spicy Lentil is a meal in itself....
