Let's spread the word about holidaying in Turkey

The good news: from an agent's point of view, enquiries generally have picked up since Christmas. However, people are (understandably) cautious and VERY price conscious when enquiring. WE have had to discount quite heavily to get bookings and even then it's been hard work!

The bad news: there still aren't anything like the level of enquiries we had this time two years ago, and the two recent incidents won't have helped. Even though it's a fact that Turkey is no more dangerous than any other European country, the recent vivid and uncompromising news reports are still fresh in people's minds.

We are not giving in without a fight though. There is a new facebook page, dedicated to spreading the word about how safe people actually feel when they come to Turkey. It might help persuade a few doubters.
