Is this thread for real.......?
Not so Long ago there were calls for British women not to be so loud in restaurants. I do despair.... :-\
Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)

Oh dear, we are off to the beach this morning. I'd better not wear one of my saggy, old faithful bikinis and I'll tell OH not to bother with his budgie smugglers  :o ;D ;)

I hear that the fine for wearing a T shirt on Kalkan Beach is 1 x complimentary Efes from Fener Bar.
.............It may reach 50 degrees but I will be wearing at least 10 T shirts.....because this is a fine I am very willing to accept

........Unfortunately I then woke up from my very pleasing dream !!

We have recently spent a few days with friends who live on lake Balaton in Hungary. Most of the guests to the area are German, Russian and Italian. I couldn't get over that lots of people were walking along the street, sitting in cafes and in the town just wearing budgie smugglers or a bikini and nothing else. I have to tell you it generally wasn't a pretty sight.

Generally the people who really shouldn't wear skimpy swimwear out and about are the ones who do.... ;D
