halal meat

hi I've been seeing post about bacon available etc.
i thought that turkey being a muslim country won't have oink available?
so is the meat in supermarkets halal and the butchers?

Yes because Turkey is a Muslim country that is how it is prepared
As for bacon of course you can buy it here - it's expensive but available
When you buy those lovely Full English Breakfasts beloved of many on this site - it's on those as well

As Turkey is a secular state there is no restriction on importing or selling bacon but as Kevincat99 says it is very expensive. In the local supermarkets it is on sale at about £2.00 a rasher.
