secondhand bookshop ?
« on: June 10, 2008, 05:54:13 AM »
Hi
I have searched the site and found one reference about a bookshop under Turkish cooking, saying there is a little one opposite ABI Travel ?
Does that bookshop or any other in Kalkan buy and sell secondhand books in English ?
I get through a book everyday on holiday and really don''t want to waste luggage allowance on taking them with me. I do like recycling books rather than buying new.
Thanks for your help in advance.

Many of the hotels and restaurants have libraries of books from which they would usually be happy for you to swap books- often at no charge.

ABI travel usually have a small bookcase just inside the door...you can donate your books to them, and pick up second hand ones for a donation to the animal charity they support.
Its worth bearing in mind, though, the selection available depends on what has been donated.
