Dalaman airport domestic flights

We are flying back via Istanbul and we're told that domestic flights are now leaving from international terminal... does anyone know whether we have to go through passport control.. or is it in another part of airport?

The domestic part is in the right hand side of the terminal, go past the international check-in desks on the right and it's there.
