Cancelled flight from Dalaman

Our flight on Monday night was cancelled - and we advised of a new flight ( different flight number) the next day. Accommodation was provided but when I phoned Easyjet to see about any compensation was told that we were "re-scheduled" and not cancelled. Am thinking should still go ahead and try and claim something even if it covers some of our loss of earnings and extra expenses. Anyone had any experience of this sort of thing?

Check your Travel Insurance policy, you may be able to claim on that. I doubt if you'd get any joy with EasyJet.

Sadly the airlines are a law unto themselves and frequently treat passengers like they are doing you a favour rather than providing a service which you are paying for
