Villa Korsan
« on: January 16, 2011, 11:21:29 AM »
I'm a fairly seasoned Kalkan regular -always stayed in fairly small private apartments and currently on countdown to Kalkan'11 (173 days 4 hours 12 minutes and counting).

I've got a big birthday coming up next year and I'm starting to plan a week away with a bunch of friends in April/May 2012 and I'm considering Villa Korsan (http://www.korsankalkan.com/Villa%20Korsan%20Info.htm) as a special treat - and it looks like great value if you split cost down between 4 couples.

Before I contact the owners I thought I'd ask you guys if you've stayed in, or know anyone who's stayed in this fantastic looking villa. Any tales / feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

PW

Hi PW,

I stayed at Villa Korsan with 11 other friends at the end of May 2010.
We absolutely love it!! ;D The villa is amazing and the staff were really fantastic, we even had a security/ maintenance guy living on site, which was helpful.

The villa was spotless and spacious with fantastic views over Kalamar Bay and finished to a very high standard. Just a few minutes walk to Kalamar beach club, and maybe a 20 min stroll (depending on pace) into town.

The only hiccup we experienced was when we decided to pay to get the pool heated. The heat was switched on but never seemed to work, so we scrapped the idea. But during this time we experienced a couple of power cuts, not sure if it was related to the pool heating issue, but the maintenance man was able to resolve it quickly. He also came to our rescue when a little gecko decided to crawl into my suitcase :o, my hero  ;D! In the overall picture this didn’t have a negative impact on our stay at all.

We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
If you would like to see some of our pictures of the villa, just send me a PM.

Hope that helps and that you have an amazing stay.  :)

Cheers
Kay
