Hotels in Dalaman?

I suppose I am being the doomster here. But I've had my w/e in Dublin cancelled & my son's visit home also gone due to the current ash problems.

Am not coming to Turkey until June & hope all is well by then but I work on the principle of "forewarned is forearmed".

So, if I was stuck at Dalaman does anyone know of a reasonable hotel to go & stay in?

I've only ever passed through Dalaman, usually in the dark. I am sure  it is a good sized town, with a beach & some restaurants - but it would be good to know a bit more about it - just in case!!
