Cosmopolitan is just after the steep hill , and from there an easy stroll  passing Elixir hotel  you come to Brothers , then a further 30 metres to Aqua and cafe Vita. The cocktails in aqua are also good, really nice staff there , and you can watch the barman making them for you , he's really friendly.
 Botanic for me is ok, but I got the only mozzy bites of my holiday in there, it is different though and was worth a visit.

Agree Mini Bar is our favourite bar. Hasan is a wonderful host, greets you with a smile and gets you a table quickly. The best placect to people watch pre and post dinner. Weve been regulars twice a year for the past 3 years and have made many friends in the bar. The strawberry diaquiri  is to die for. Going into Manchester today for cocktails but wish i was sat in the Mini Bar

Totally agree about Min Bar. Hasan is such a charming guy. And they do decent sparkling wine (of Prosecco quality). The really big plus for me is that they don't have a giant TV screen blasting sport out to the entire bar. This has, unfortunately, become common practice in most bars now and has been the main reason why I don't like going to Moonlight as much as we used to.

I am so with you on that Mags, the TV's! I understand people like to watch sport,but it is to the detriment of anyone who really couldn't care less about which football team etc.is playing. We go to the mini bar for the same reason.You can actually have a conversation uninterrupted.

This is what life is all about...if you want tv you go to the bars that have it   ..if you don't  you use the bars where it is not available ...You have the choice..... Both are available ...What annoys me are comments complaining about the ones that do show tv...if its not to your liking  vote by using your feet..

We found it hard to find somewhere NOT showing the football when we were there in June. I love watching sport on TV when I'm in Kalkan, but BH is Welsh and is superstitious about watching Wales play on TV (its ok to be in the stadium, apparently..) and therefore we needed to find a bar not showing the football. We decamped to Jimmy's and Botanik on those occasions but to be honest there were so few bars/restaurants not showing the games - it's obviously what the people want as all the bars with TV's were packed out on match days.

If ALL the bars had the TV on, then the people who don't want it wouldn't be there - this doesn't mean there's no demand, just that they've gone somewhere else.

I suspect that watching sport means a greater consumption (and thus profit) than sipping a drink watching the world go by.

I also suspect the hotel bars and the numerous apartments and villas bars/balconies/patios may well be busier on such nights!
