Just returned (sad face!)
« on: June 13, 2013, 09:32:04 PM »
So as has been said before, arrive at the apartment and slip straight into Kalkan time, i.e sleep, eat, sleep, walk, sleep, eat, drink, sleep. ;D

Funniest thing of the holiday?  One night in Moonlight Muhitdin was gesticulating to  person behind me. When I turned round, I was confronted by a drunk older Turkish Man with his trousers undone, fortunately he was wearing underwear!!! Muhitdin then proceeded to escort said offender from the premises (after obtaining payment for the drink consumed naturally!). This task was not easy, the man was drunk, his trousers were undone and kept falling down, whilst trying to get down the steps and down the slope - Muhitdin had to secure the trousers to try to simplify the task at hand, but it kept me entertained for a good 5 - 10 minutes.

Patara beach seemed to have several naked people when I was there - some completely, others just topless. :o

Restaurant revelation - Odak above the soup kitchen. The chef from Kosk is there and he is a man who knows how to cook. Very relaxed and friendly. They suffer a bit from the location I think because people tend to walk past to see what is in town, but it is fab food and reasonable prices as well as being a good people watching spot.  :)

Now, when to book the next trip....................

Helshe that was brilliant, brightened my friday up!!
What a sight for sore eyes, a drunken pensioner with his pants down and naked bodies on patata  :o :o :o
You just reminded me as I had totally forgotten, that when we were there last, 2 guys and their female partners (they sounded scandinavian) doffed off to get changed and vice versa, without a care in the world! At least they had their cossies on when they ran down the beach and dived in the surf  :)
Odak sounds good, that's another one on the never ending list. Glad you had a wonderful time and hope you manage to return soon.  8)

second funniest thing - OH chasing a crab on the beach. He watched it go down a hole then tried to carefully extract it, every time he got close, the crab ran out and he had to throw sand on it to stop it whilst chasing it round in a crab like fashion!! He did eventually catch the crab to show me it at close quarters before letting it go back to its business of the day!!!
