What do you miss the most?

So...we have been home just over two weeks and the holiday blues are not getting any easier!  We miss Kalkan so much, it's ridiculous. I got to thinking; 'I wonder what I miss the most' and decided there were too many things to pick just one. I miss waking up in the morning and seeing the sun rise over the the bay, seeing the stillness of the sea and the boats silently sailing by. I miss the feeling of being very welcome wherever you go and the warmth of everyone tourists and locals alike and I also miss the food - the quality, taste and price, everywhere; in cafes right up to the roof tops.

The weather! I shouldn't  be wearing jumpers in June!

 I echo your feelings entirely!  Been back for 4 days and counting down the minutes until we return in September.  It's the total relaxation you feel strolling around, seeing old friends, going to the green grocers for the freshest most flavoursome fruit and veg, the views, the sparkling clear sea, lounging by the pool gazing at the view, sitting at Yali and people watching whilst we tr and choose a restaurant to go to...oh I wish we were still there!  .

Being by the pool at the Pirat hotel, ipod on and looking out at the fabulous view of the sea, pre dinner mojitos at Kleo and getting all the different smells from the restaurants thinking were shall we go tonight.....

The relaxed friendly atmosphere and 'that view'.  Never tire of it.  Will have to look at the photos again.  Not the same I know but all we''ve got for now.

The very relaxed feel of the place, just walking down to town shopping for evening meal(we eat in a lot) looking for nice place for lunch.......thinking....thinking......what will we do today??? Mmmmmmmmhhhhhhh!!!!!! Not sure........need to think a bit more over a very long lunch in some nice roof top place..............awe just love thinking!!!!!!!!

I love thursday morning's getting up early to go to the market before it gets too hot around 8.30am then stopping for breakfast on the way back. Then still a whole day ahead to go to the beach or laze round the pool! Bliss.
