Kalkan - Olu Deniz

Hello all

I normally go to Olu Deniz but am going to kalkan as a single traveller for friends wedding in end Sept/Oct.
I wonder what you guys recommend is the best method of transport to/from Olu Deniz, for the day. .. and associated costs/prefered transporter?

hi---if there is a bus Im sure that would be the cheapest way. I personally, just for the flexbility and convenience would hire a car for th day--about £20----£25 pounds. Paul

If you are intending to go to Olu Deniz on your own, im a single traveller to Kalkan also and i often go to Fethiye for the day which costs about 8 lira one way(approx) from Kalkan bus station (and are v frequent) and Olu Deniz mini buses run every 15 mins or less from Fethiye, again its very cheap and about 40min from Fethiye. The only problem though, is i had to pick up this minibus from a stop nearby to the bus station, but im sure there may be some link, also everyone is very helpful when you tell them where you want to go. You cant get lost!! and ive no sense of direction.
