Hi All,

As the season approaches, how many holidays do you have booked to Kalkan this year and how long until you are there... we are certainly on countdown now!

65 days to the first visit and then 2 more visits mid and late season. Also on the countdown.

13 weeks today for our second visit (for 7.5 glorious weeks) and then 11 weeks after that for the third (only 5 weeks).
If we don't do it now, how on earth are we going to manage those hills in invalid cars?

110 days!! Then in Sep we are having a week in Calis beach.

Oooh you lot are making me jealous!!!

Enjoy Calis Nicky, we really liked it. Never been in high season but had a great time there a couple of years ago at Easter. We stayed at the Sunset Beach apartments, in a fab apartment right on the front near the beach. We woke up to dolphins cavorting in the bay one morning....magical!

Too long for me too, itstime. Four months to go to a June visit and then back in September. Unless I can manage to go a bit earlier......... Look at the webcams (and our own website) in the meantime and do a bit of dreaming.

We also love Calis Lizilu. We stay in the Harman hotel or the Mutlu. This time we're staying in the Harman as the Mutlu was booked up. Totally different resort to Kalkan but we like it. We love to go into Fethiye at night time on the water taxi and there are some lovely restaurants.

Hi Nicky, Fethiye is great isn't it? One year we were there with friends at the paspatur and ate at the duck pond. We will always remember a young Turkish lad coming up to us selling something, can't remember what now, saying in his best yorkshie accent "ow much aaaare they", poor lad we had him repeating it so many times he got totally fed up with us!!! Had my engagement and wedding rings made in fethiye, aaahh, so many happy memories, my first tase of pide and ayran at Nefis .... lucky you, having the best of both worlds. xx

In exactly 19 weeks we will be enjoying our first morning.....seems like forever but on the plus side time to get rid of the few pounds I put on last time I was there, ready to put it on again!
