favourite thing ???????????????

my first favourite thing is waking early on the first morning, walking through a quiet Kalkin, through the old town perhaps alone or with some dogs. Down to the beach where if early enough I see the cats at the waters edge. Then the sun coming over the hill, walking along  the jetty over the far side of the harbour watching the fishermen getting ready then walking back to find somewhere to have a coffee if I'm lucky. Can't wait to be there in 10 days time

That sounds wonderful to me - my husband and daughter did a similar walk at Easter, albeit from Kiziltas, took some wonderful photographs with the sun just coming up.  Hope you have a fantastic holiday, and enjoy your walk!

Oh I will, thank you.
It's getting to the stage where I'm so excited it's hard to sleep and instead of counting sheep I'm planing each day (only have one week). Last night it was the beach clubs, Xanthos and Patara and the easiest route from the White House to the market. I tend to go up a bit, along a bit  I especially love going through the back of the town to the market and passing the houses (not villas or apartments) where the chickens are scrabbling in the earth and flowers are everywhere in all sorts of containers. Love it!!!
