Anything Slimline
« on: August 12, 2010, 10:05:38 AM »
I have never seen slimline tonic in Kalkan and I was just wondering if anyone has seen ANYslimline drinks at all like diet coke or lemonade? I put slimline in the search facility and it confirmed that no one has seen slimline tonic.

You'll just have to take the slimline tonic with you then.

Do you think I could get it flight side at the airport, I wouldn't want to put it in my suitcase?

...for some reason, you cant buy slimline tonic in Turkey ??? ???
I can't drink the "full-fat" version, its too sweet :P , I switch to gin and soda whilst I'm there.
Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)

We found some really nice sugar free (seker siz) lemonade for sale last week at one of the shops opposite the taxi rank. Its in an outdoor fridge close to the steps going up to the butchers. Think it was about 1 lira for a smallish bottle - and very nice it was too. :)

Diet Coke is readily available, but you're right! No Slimline Tonic!

You can get coca cola light in most of the bars and restaurants but no other slimline drinks. All of the supermarkets sell coca cola light and Yali and Kartin sometimes sell low calorie lemonade, (I think it's called Camlica light), I haven't seen any other slimline mixers.
