Thomas Cook - easter flights
« on: February 28, 2011, 09:34:22 AM »
Just had my TC flight  to Dalaman for easter changed for the 3rd time!  I chose the flight based on it's time (as many of us do) and booked parking now the flight is  a full 3 hours later.

ARGHHH!!!  >:(

We've got TC flights booked for Easter too but not heard anything yet.

Where are you flying from and when?  :)
Currently have a duplex apartment in Kiziltas which we visit as often as we can.

Ive just checked my flights to Antalya 1 may....... should have been 08.10,now been changed to 14.25 !!!!! thats the time I should have landed, not going to land until gone 8pm now.
I have now changed my mind about TC,they are a bunch of con artists !

They are all the same, but, at least some of the others give you proper safety room.
There - over there, there are.            To - Going to
Their - belongs to them.                     Too - In addition, Also
They're - Short for they are.

Pedant! me?

I'm flying out of Gatwick on 20th April.  I purposely booked the 7am flight so I would get there by lunchtime.  Now I'm not leaving until 9.45 afer 3 changes of flight time.

Did the lady give you a reason why they moved you off your original choice of flight time.  Becauase I can't understand if it was so simple for them to put you back on that original flight, why the need to move you in the first place causing all that unnecessary stress and inconvenience to sort it out?

For the last year TC has been my last choice for flights, had better service, leg room and weight allowance with Thomsons and EasyJet aren't too bad either.

I don't know about T C  as|I usually fly with Easy Jet and things are getting a bit silly with them lately. You can pay extra for something they call "Easy Boarding"  So you are given the impression that you will be first on. Not a bit of it. First on are all the invalids, then all those with young children and that amounts to about a quarter of the total. It's a rip off. I'm taking a walking stick next time! Got to go now, I need to practice my limp.

Of course you could get these numbers off of www.saynoto0870.com and maybe save a little! 01733 842110 or  01274 387707.

Dellbarr, I have just returned from a regular trip to Nice with EasyJet and in my experience they always call speedy boarders first, then the disabled and people with kids.
For a shortish flight, is it really worth paying for if just 2 adults are travelling?

Loved that item in "Come Fly With Me"
Passenger, (after check in girl had taken the money for it): Is speedy boarding popular?
Check in girl: Oh yes! Everyone on your flight has it!

Hi Rosie, the flight I was moved back to after ringing was a new flight that had appeared, funny, but it was the exact same times as my original flight.  ???
The reason I was given for moving my flight 6 hours and 20 mins was that it was a aircraft change, looks like some aircraft can only fly at certain times ?
But I am happy now,got my original flight time back,I just give the lady a load of twoddle about having a meeting at 4pm,and it worked      :o    ;D

I have seen this before with easy jet, express boarding my backside,it was at Dalaman, everyone packed into the gate area,I was stood with a couple who had paid the extra, they couldnt even get to the gate to board because of the mad stampede, families of 4,5,6, with a 10 year old in a pram all charging on,and One young lad with crutch and a small bandage on his ankle and 15,yes fifteen of his party all allowed to board the plane with this poor little lad............................. what a joke !!!!!!
