Passports

I have a really silly question....or maybe I just need some reassurance? I always thought you needed 6 months validity on your passport from when you left Turkey. Now having read all the official guidance I see that it says 6 months from date of entry and 3 months from date of leaving. Our passports expire 6 months from the middle of our holiday.....if you see what I mean. We arrive on 11 October and they expire 16 April....so that's ok isn't it? So busy at the moment that the thought of trying to find somewhere to get the photos done sends me into overdrive! Bit of reassurance please!

Hi Babs,

Yes you are fine.As you say, there is slightly more than 6 months left between when you arrive and the expiry of your passport.

If you had been going on the 11th October and the passport ran out on the 4th April 2015 then there would not be 6 full months left.

So don't worry, you are fine, and look forward to fab times

No need to think of renewing those orrible passport pics just yet !!

Hey Babs,

Mine are always of the " orrible " variety. If your's are gorgeous, then either you are truly stunningly beautiful ( and Babs,i don't doubt that for a minute ).........or I need to use the passport booth that you use......although I still think it would struggle with me !! Never mind Eh !
