One way transfer
« on: April 19, 2008, 02:18:55 PM »
I tried to book a one way transfer from Dalaman with Adda, on-line, as we are sharing a transfer on the return journey. It wouldn''t process as the return details hadn''t been entered. Any advice please?

There are other firms offering airport transfers.  We have always used Mustafa and Bayram at the Ali Baba next to the Kaya.  They will happily do one way transfers at competitive prices.  They can be contacted on egemen_yaren@mynet.com.  Hope this is useful.  Alan

It is wise to check that individuals offering transfers have the correct licences, to operate airport transfers agencies should have an operators licence and are oblidged to be a member of Tursab ( www.tursab.org.tr ) and carry a tursab board.

Some time ago Dalaman airport police became quite tough on people operating transfers without this. Whilst others may be able to offer transfers cheaper but it''s unfair on those companies who follow the regulations and pay for the necessary documentation to support others who don''t. I would guess without this their / your insurance would be invalid.

jon..it was when you contacted them directly with your details......and they contacted you back..and before you flew you could verify all was ok..now by going through EK all i have is a piece of paper with my details on..and no way of contacting adda directly to confirm we are still being picked up...i have no wish to be hanging around Dalaman for a transfer that isn''t going to turn up..we have done so  before(Not adda) it''s once bitten twice shy i''m afraid.... so now a week before we fly we always try and confirm
