Jet2

Has anyone travelled with Jet2 and what are your opinions of the flight/airline. We''re due to fly out on 25 May from Leeds/Bradford (originally I thought it was with Onur but now I find it''s with Jet2).

We used them last year from Manchester. Good flight but we bought extra legroom seats at check-in since we had not flown them before.

Hi

We have flown with Jet2 a couple of times now and have had no problems. We are using them again this year.

We found them a good budget airline, flights were on time - some were even on the early side!!! and all staff helpful.

Can''t comment on the on-board food - we always take our own!!!

We''re on that same flight on the 25th from Leeds. My dad always flies with Jet 2 now, which is why we chose them. He has flown with them loads of times and has always left on time with no hitches at all, and found the service very good. A far  cry from the shocking service I get EVERY time I fly with Thomas Cook. And Jet2 are cheaper!!!

We have just booked with Jet2 oneway from Dalaman to Manchester for September - a good price considering we also booked extra legroom.

Will let you know what its like!

The Jet2 prices for 25 May were not cheap - about £1,500 for four people. I purchased this as part of a package through Holiday4U which works out, minus the flight cost, at about £300 for four of us B&B for two weeks. We normally travel independantly but the cost of flights for the dates/departure airport we require plus the flight times (two children to consider) makes this the most viable option.

Ray and I have booked with them for 25th May,(Manchester), it was the cheapest, but as we have not travelled with them before, I was also interested in the responses to Popps question. My son and his family booked their holiday and by happy coincident are on the same flights, so we will all be able to travel together.
Fingers crossed it goes smoothly.... after last May''s fiasco I have double checked everyone''s passport to make sure they will all be valid.... LOL

I would be very careful as Jet2.com are being touted as the next low cost airline to go belly up.

Misty... "I would be very careful as Jet2.com are being touted as the next low cost airline to go belly up"

Can you tell us what info/who is touting, you have that led you to post this comment?
I am sure we would all like to know so we can check.
Cheers
