Dalaman Airport

Is it true that Dalaman will be closed after New year for 3 months?  I am trying to book flights to come out from Gatwick in January

I'm pretty sure that Dalaman will not be closing. However the likes of Thomas Cook and EasyJet do not have direct flights to Dalaman until end of March. You may find that you will have to go via Istanbul.
Hope you find some suitable flights - http://flights.idealo.co.uk/  may be worth a try.

Pegasus airlines (www.flypygs.com) fly from Stanstead to Dalaman via Istanbul.  Thomas Cook and Thomsons have flights into Antalya each week over the winter period.

Hi, flew to Kalkan for Christmas & the New year & am having a lovely time with partner Deniz.  Just took at call from Aegean airlines they have changed my return flight from Dalaman to Bodrum, OK no great problem just a bit inconvenient.  Anyway a very HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone wherever in the world you are celebrating, all the best for 2011.
