Alternative to cattleclass
« on: August 13, 2008, 04:50:23 PM »
This year flights ex Manchester cost us £300+ each, once we had selected flights with reasonable times and paid extra for meals and +5kg luggage, but we still had to put up with 28 inch seat pitch with Thomas Cook. But one flight ex Manchester that doesn''t appear on search engines is the Saturday afternoon flight operated for Exclusive Escapes by BMI.  Exclusive Escapes website would suggest it can be booked flight only for £300 - no bad with 32 inch seat pitch, meals and 20kg luggage.  Anyone any experience of this flight?

We have used that flight several times, its absolutely fine, we have had no problems at all. Its a bit more expensive this year but if you want a bit more comfort and better luggage allowances etc then its an excellent option. However there are no films shown so take a good book!

We have guests staying in our apartment who travel on the 06/09 and they are paying £300 for their flights on this service.
