Is there much difference between the ingredients of Turkish Delight and Bassetts Jelly Babies (just nicked one from the granddaughter)?!

I'd say there's a significant difference. Jelly babies have a harder outer shell and softer centre, whereas turkish delight is the same consistency throughout...and generally - in my opinion - a whole lot nicer :)
Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)

The turkish delight we are generally given is about 3 times the size of a jelly baby!!.....who else bites the heads off first?

(Anyone remember the TD shop where Coast /Gironda is?..you could try all manner of strange flavours...mmmmm)
People Of Britain.. When your missus asks "Does my bum look big in this? Never say "Dunno your blocking the light."... just sayin ????
