From the car park above the villa, take the steps down to the large wooden entrance doors.Once inside, the superb view over the bay is the first thing you will notice. The garden and pool area is spacious with everything needed for outside living.
Inside the villa the hallway with laundry room off and separate shower room , leads to the kitchen, dining & seating areas, all with large French doors leading to the dining terrace & pool deck with shower. The garden is fragrant , colourful and very private , with a grape vine winding through the terrace pergolas up to the top floor
Lower terrace has dining area for 6, with shaded and open areas, barbeque, a large white fabric day bed and a sun deck around the pool.
The sun deck is equipped with tables,loungers,white fabric covered mattresses and large white parasols.
2nd floor has a king bed room, terrace, bathroom with shower and a twin bed room.
The master suite above has a king bed an en-suite bathroom with separate shower,Jacuzzi and a large terrace. All bedrooms have dressing tables, mirrors and fitted robes.
Kitchen has all appliances including dishwasher, large fridge freezer and island unit with breakfast bar. Dining area seats six, but the dining terrace has the best views.
Sitting room has fireplace, sofas to seat six , satellite TV and CD player
The villa has superb sea views facing south with the Taurus mountains behind.
From the pool and numerous terraces and balconies on 3 floors you have views of Kalkan bay & snake & mouse islands.Kalkan is a charmingly, picturesque former fishing village between Fethiye and Kas. The villa is overlooks the harbour and has wonderful views which you will never tire of
The village is 15 minutes walk , the nearest hotel and restaurant is 200 metres away
From Kalkan you can visit Patara beach ,the longest beach in Turkey, Saklikent gorge, Roman ruins at Xanthos, Kaputas beach and the towns of Fethiye and Kas are all accessible from the local bus station 10 mins walk away or by local taxi from the villa.
There is a clean shingle beach in Kalkan with cafes nearby, and several beach clubs reached by free water taxis from the harbour.
dining out is a joy in kalkan, with its diversity, service and value. the resort has long welcomed uk visitors and has learned that a friendly low key approach rather than hassle works best. its like nowhere else in turkey.

Smoking is not permitted inside the villa
Single sex groups would not find the resort suitable, it's refined and laid back, with little late night entertainment.
Due to the hillside location it may not be suitable for the elderly or infirm.
The swimming pool depth is 1.4 to 1.5 mts , children should be supervised at all times whilst using the pool.
