A Beautiful1 Bedroom, Ground Floor Apartment
Having recently been upgraded, the property is tastefully decorated in neutral shades, the accommodation offers open plan living/dining/kitchen, double/twin bedroom and a large bathroom. The kitchen area houses ample storage, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer microwave, gas hob, washing machine etc. The living area has a TV and DVD player and 2 single sofa beds, while the bedroom has twin beds which can fit together to make a large king size if preferred, 2 fitted wardrobes and chest of drawers. Both the living room and bedroom benefit from air conditioning units. All the windows are double glazed and fitted with mosquito screens. Due to the thickness of the walls the apartment remains relatively cool in the summer.
Outside there is an attractive private terrace with table and chairs, sunbeds and an umbrella. Being one of just six, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, the property also benefits from a large airy, shared roof terrace having chairs and tables with umbrellas, a barbecue, a kitchen area and w/c with views to both Kalkan and the harbour to the left and Kalamar Bay to the right. There is also a good sized swimming pool with a sun terrace and sunbeds and umbrellas, all set in beautiful mature gardens.
Kalkan is an attractive fishing village with narrow cobbled streets and whitewashed bougainvillea covered buildings. There is an attractive harbour where many an hour can be spent with a cool drink watching the boats coming in and out. The village boasts over 100 restaurants catering for all tastes and budgets, many of which are on rooftop terraces overlooking the harbour and islands beyond.
The property is situated on Kalamar Road, a quiet residential area about a 10 minute stroll into the centre of the village in one direction and about a 10 minute stroll to Kalamar Bay in the other. There is a shop just next door which sells basic provisions such as fresh bread, water, milk, wine etc. and the nearest restaurant is approximately 200 metres.
