KTLN reports that as Turkey is holding a National referendum on Sunday 12th the law states no alcohol must be drank or sold!!

........methinks some of you will be sneaky in your search of a cool EFES!!(i shall toast all you Kalkanites while i sit smuggly in Wetherspoons

There was something like this when I was in TRNC back in June and they had local elections and a few of the bars got round it by not taking any money at the time and letting people run a tab.........there were plenty of people still drinking it though!

I'll be back in Blighty but wouldn't imagine that anywhere here will follow that ruling. I propose to drink a nice pint of bitter or two on Sunday and will certainly not be looking for Efes, which I only drink in Kalkan because, as mountaineers say, 'it's there'.

Just as well we came home on Monday, my hubby would have been horrified, no Efes

, although I expect he'd have been paying a visit to Yali's. So home now worse luck after a fantastic time yet again and it's grey skies and drizzle here in Wales just to make matters worse. Oh well like you Mr Lizard he'll have to be satisfied with his Saturday Efes fix in Wetherspoons now

I was with Mr Wetherspoon last night...i can confirm that just like Efes in turkey..his also gives you Cranium Megahurt!(headache!)
