depends where you are staying, cafe vita is damm good, wi fi, sky tv, uk papers and cold beer.
situated on the Kalamar road.
If you want views and beer, almost every bar/restaurant will serve the purpose.

From taxi rank /old school cut through car park rear of taxis  and you come out opposite literally 2 mins walk.. complex is next to Samira Gardens......from Kalamar road end go past Omar Shariffs brother and barbers shop, turn left...just down on the right ;)

Try Ada Patisserie Cafe Bistro underneath Atlantis Restaurant.    On the left hand side (going into Kalkan) on the Kalamar Road shortly before the roundabout.      Relax with your paper and Effes and people watch as you can see everyone who walks to and from Kalamar Bay.    They have internet access too if anyone has taken their laptop.     It is new this year and seems very popular with locals as well as tourists.    Your wife might like to join you one day with her book.

Atlantis Restaurant above Ada is very good for an evening meal but Ada itself has quite a lot to eat if you linger and get peckish.

I have no connection with either place other than having enjoyed many meals over the years at Atlantis and this year had several visits to Ada for coffee/Effes/wine (not all at once) whilst using my laptop.   Saw quite a lot of familiar local Kalkan people there over the week.

Enjoy wherever you choose to go to read your paper and people watch.

Try Al Fresco at the end of the Kalamar Road. from the Med Apartments go up towards Kalamar Road past the Samira Garden Hotel and turn right at the top. Al Fresco is on the opposite side of the road on the left - new this year. They have a fab seating area and there's lots of activity in this part of Kalkan during the day to keep you amused.
Madness takes its toll.....make sure you have the exact change!

In town I would say on top of Foto pizza, great view, great breeze, great price 3.5TL large Effes (I think)

Out of town on the Kalamar road it would have to be Obi's pancake house. Sit over the road under the trees, looking out over the bay enjoying the breeze. Andy and I used to go there quite a lot for a light lunch, nice and cheap and only a minute from our hotel!

For an iced coffee, Cafe del Mar on the road to the harbour, exotically decorated and great chilled music. I believe they do Effes too but have no idea of the price.
