cant wait to get there this year (29th sep)
need a break after all these tour operators failures and filling out 18 page CAA claim forms for each and everyone of my clients!!
 
visited kas last year, not that impressed!
also did the normal tlos sunken city etc
 
is olu deniz worth a day by hire car?
 
anything would help as i sell turley a lot but not really seen much more than kalkan (as my wife and i love it so much, not sure there is anymore to worry about outside of kalkan!!)

If you go to Olu then go via Kaya Koy nearby. It is a deserted Greek town and is very atmospheric.

olou deniz is ok if all you want to do is look at the sky and see how many parasenders are coming down!
NOW 25 years ago a lovely resort :)

have to agree with bassett, not a fan of Olu Deniz...did you go to Patara, seasick?

yep, i agree with basset and kalkan4eva ... if you like Kalkan, Olou Deniz probably wont impress ... unless you'd like to do the paragliding which looks impressive and I'm told is very exciting.
 Kaya Koy in the valley is worth a look - the 'ghost village' is quite surreal ... some nice restaurant's in the village - best ones we found were Lavant where you dine beneath the ruins, and Cin Bar where you can do your own barbie!

Patara - a must do, it's tempting to hang out on the beach, but it's well worth a stroll to the ruins and the village ...
