Well, that drew in all the handbag fiends like me!

Not long until I'll be there (25th Sept) and I'm desperate for a Mulberry Alexa

Last year we arrived later by a week or so and there were very few bags left in the shops

My question is this: Do you think there will be plenty of bags around and did anyone get an Alexa this year? (I think Rachey was after one)
Any guide to price? I'd really like the purply/blue one called "Ink" but any nice colour will do if not!
I know one shop is next to Moonlight Bar, but where is BSG situated?

Indeed I am after an Alexa - hopefully in 2 weeks time I will have achieved my goal

. BSG is right by Abi Travel, and very close to Yali Bar, where my beloved will be sitting with an Efes while I ponder major bag-buying decisions

I'm sure they'll have bags left, and if you pop in at the very beginning of your holiday and tell Linda what you're after, there's a good chance she could get a bag in the shop by the end of the week...

Hope you get the one you want, I'll do as you suggest and get in there early, I hadn't realised they could order one. Oooohh... I can't wait either!

...didn't see any Alexa bags at all in either Kalkan or Fethiye when we were there in May/June. We bought a gorgeous Mulberry laptop bag from Nuri, though. Lush!!!
Following on from the jewellery thread, just in case anyone is in any doubt..the bags are fakes

Kefgirl, BSG have a website so you can check out the bag before going! Even more dangerous is that can order from the UK and have it shipped over! www.bsgleather.com

Can definitely recommend BSG as i bought a Tods bag and a mulberry purse when out there last week and there is a very good stock at present- so much better quality than some of the other leather shops in Kalkan!

Ooo i bought very good mulberry bag and purse from the bag shop - think its next to abi - its cafer akgul who owns it.
I love it! great belts too.

Speaking of handbags - Is there anywhere in Kalkan or Kas which sells nice handbags which aren't fakes, ie completely unbranded? I'll be on my third holiday to Kalkan in just over 2 weeks (yay!) and would really like to buy a bag but on previous trips all the bags I've liked have been exact replicas and I don't really want a fake anything - just a nice, good quality leather bag

The Misty May Leather Shop does leather bags which seem to be of good quality and are unbranded. its next to A la Turka opposite Rendevous and just up the hill from Cafe del Mar on the same side.

Have to agree with Tonik about MistyMay leather shop, she has some lovely leather bags/purses etc, all unbranded.
My husband bought a coin purse from there, really good quality. She also has some lovely leather sandals which i think i will have to treat myself to next year when we go back!!

I have bought quite a lot from Misty May, they make all their own (unbranded) leather bags,
good quality leather at reasonable prices, and no hassling in the shop.
