LOST DOG
« on: June 09, 2010, 02:47:18 PM »
Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help 2 days ago my friend (Huseyin from Aubergine, you may know him) let his dog out for her morning run and she never came home.

He is really devastated and I thought that maybe by posting this on here someone might of seen her or have some advice as to where to look.

She is a very friendly dog but I dont think that she would of gone off with anyone so we are worried that she has been hurt and is hiding somewhere. She is a white brown and black German Shepherd just over a year old with a collar with a silver tag, one of her ears does not stick up and she answers to the name Kismet. I cant download any pictures but I do have them if you think you may have seen her.

If you do have any news or have seen her anywhere could you please contact me or Huseyin, any help would be apreciated.

Thanks,

Dee

Hi

She turned up at Cafe Leon 4/5 days ago, I think. I took her down to the boys at Aubergine, who said that they would hold onto her, as Husseyin was not there at that time. I thought that was unusual, as I know she is always with him.
She is a lovely dog, I do hope he finds her, and I will definitely keep loooking for her

Doesn't this epitomise Kalkan's dog problem when it was "let out for her morning run" rather than being taken for a walk by her owner? When staying at the Yali we frequently met owners accompanying their dogs on the coast road.

Unfortunately alfaman, walking dogs is not a very Turkish thing, they just let them run around willy-nilly, a lot of the dogs we seee regularly on the streets have Turkish owners, they're just out 'running around'
Save Kisiltas- ban the D400

Hi,

I just want to thank you all for keeping your eyes out for Kismet, as you said she is safe home now with H and getting better after she suffered an injury to her leg.

It would be lovely to know who the kind person was that took her to the vet when she was hurt so we could thank them personally. If anyone knows who this was could you let me know.

Thanks again,

Dee
