Hey there,
Well this is going to be my first time to Kalkan,Turkey.
The Missus and myself usually holiday just over the way at Lindos Rhodes.
We were told that this part of turkey is much the same ( steeped in history and plenty to see.)
We were wondering about cheap car rental and whats the best places around that we could visit.
Thanks for looking in on a newcomer and look forward to your posts.

I am also new to this fourm. I have explore myself to turkey once a long back.
I think this is best place to know about before to be there physically. I hope we had a good time around. See you onboard later.

Hi Tony I visited Lindos for the first (and only) time the same year as I went to Kalkan, also for the first time. Have been back to Turkey for several visits a year ever since - Kalkan and Istanbul. I really liked Lindos but could see what was starting to spoil it and hope that Kalkan won't go the same way. I'm sure you'll love the place and wish you a very happy holiday. Lots of places to visit and negotiations to be had over car rental. I think first time visitors to Turkey don't always trust what is offered but in my experience it's 100% genuine.

Car hire is pretty competitive. Where are you staying? We have been able to secure a good deal with the Samira Hotel Group for our villa guests. Expect to pay ~ Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£25 per day. Weekly, you can negotiate a deal where you are picked up at the airport and left back again. ADDA and ABA, also ENNES are reputable companies. If you are having a transfer built into you trip, you may want to leave it until you arrive and settle in! Plenty to do and see! Just explore the site a bit more! 100% comments on here, good and bad.

Hi there, I am also new to this site.
Going back to kalkan in july, not been back since last visit which was in 2004, so hope its not changed toooo much. Staying at the pasha apart hotel, seen lots of good reviews about this place, really looking forward to it. The last time we stayed at the asfiya and had a fantastic holiday. visited many other parts of turkey and 2 greek islands, but nothing compares to kalkan ( skiathos a close 2nd) so hence our return. Hope the restaurants are still amazing, although i reckon there will be lots of new ones....my favourite last time was called Paprika.. great jazz singer also there!

This is the very nice place of howdy. I was just only one time go there with my family. I really like it. It is a very nice place. people have also very kindly nature of there. I was very enjoyed there in boating in the little lake.
