DenizBank ATM – translation of on screen prompts in Turkish

If you are using a DenizBank card in the ATM the on screen prompts are in Turkish.  Here is a translation for the common ones I use myself.  They are not necessarily literal word for word translations by the way.  I assume the prompts will be similar for other Turkish bank ATMs.

Keyboard buttons:

Ä°ptal = cancel/stop
Düzeltme = cancel last key entry (e.g. if you enter an incorrect PIN)
Yardım = help
GiriÅŸ = enter

On screen prompts:

Lütfen şifrenizi giriniz = please enter your PIN
Ana menu = main menu
Para çekme = dispense cash
DiÄŸer tutar = other amount (if you want an amount other than standard options)
Bilgi fiÅŸi = option after taking cash to print details of the withdrawal
Bakiye sorgulama/Hesap hareketleri = account information
Bakiye görüntüleme = look at your account balance/details on screen
Hesap hareketleri = recent account transactions on screen
Bilgi fiÅŸi istiyorum = print account balance/transaction details
Karte iade = return card

Obviously, if you are using a UK bank card then you can select the option to have screen prompts in English.

Hey - John - that is fantastically useful information...as somebody who has had their card swallowed up...I can figure out the basics now - but very useful to know what the other ones meant...(my turkish skills have not yet run to that level of information..  )

I agree totally with the last post as after three demonstrations by Mesut the deputy bank manager I still didn''t remember....

There is now a button on the display giving you the English option.
